What can I do with empty wine bottles?
I have a bunch of empty wine bottles, what can I do with them that doesn’t require any type of power tool or anything?
I like to peel off the labels, wash them out and use them to serve water in when I have guests over. I keep a few of different shapes and colors for this purpose, plus a few that look the same for when I want a more uniform look.
With the labels on, they make nice vases, but only for a single flower. A single rose or sunflower looks especially nice, especially if the bottle is dark in color.
You can also keep one or two on a bookshelf or table for decoration. But make sure to rinse them out first so they don’t make the room smell like wine.
